Terms of Service

These terms cover the website, hosting, and related services Somahub ("we", "us") provides to schools ("the school") through the somahub.top platform.

1. What Somahub Provides

• A website for the school, built and maintained on Somahub's platform, including hosting.
• A free subdomain (yourschool.somahub.top) at no cost, for as long as the school remains on the platform.
• A simple dashboard for the school to edit its own content, including text and photos.
• On the paid plan: a custom domain option, online enrollment forms, results checking for parents, and a published fee structure.

2. Fees

The free plan costs the school nothing. The paid plan is offered free for an introductory period, after which the standard paid plan fee applies as agreed separately with the school. Somahub will notify the school before any charge begins, and the school may return to the free plan instead of paying at any time.

If the school chooses a custom domain, the school covers the domain's registration and renewal cost, passed through by Somahub at or near cost.

3. Content and Ownership

• All text, photos, and information the school provides remain the property of the school.
• The school is responsible for confirming it has the right to use any photos it uploads, including photos of pupils, and for any parental consent required for those photos.
• Somahub will not use the school's content for any purpose outside operating the school's website, without the school's permission.

4. Verification

To keep the platform trustworthy for parents and the public, Somahub asks each school to confirm its identity as a genuine institution, including providing a signed and stamped copy of our agreement. Somahub may decline or suspend service to any account it cannot reasonably verify as a real school.

5. Data and Privacy

Somahub stores enrollment applications, results, and fee information submitted through the school's website, solely so the school can access and manage them. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how this data is handled and protected.

6. Support and Availability

Somahub will make reasonable efforts to keep the school's website online and to respond to support requests promptly, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Somahub is not liable for losses arising from temporary downtime or technical issues beyond its reasonable control.

7. Ending This Agreement

• The school may stop using Somahub's services at any time by informing Somahub.
• If the school leaves the platform, Somahub will provide the school's content on request for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.
• Somahub may suspend a website that is inactive, unpaid on the paid plan beyond a reasonable grace period, found to contain unlawful content, or belonging to an account that cannot be verified as a genuine school, after attempting to contact the school first.
